Welcome to Charlottesville Tango!

We are an all volunteer, non-profit social community of Argentine Tango dancer who participate because we love the dance. We also exist to promote Argentine Tango and to that end we offer classes, sponsor Milongas and practicas, and present workshops and festivals at various times throughout the year. We'll see you on the dance floor!

This means that people leaving the garage after 1am (Thursday-Saturday) get free parking. Reason to tango on, night owls. The first hour is free! They're also having more security late at night.

We’re almost there!

Please donate towards our moving and set-up costs towards our downtown venue on East Water St, Charlottesville.

We've raised about $5,689 towards our goal of $6,000. We truly appreciate your help. All donations are going directly towards a brand new wooden floor, a kitchenette, lighting, and shades.

With your help we'll turn our new venue into something beautiful, and you really will be dancing Tango on Water.

We've been cleaning, painting and installing floors, fixtures, mirrors and equipment, and having fun putting this new community studio together for all of us. Looking forward to celebrating its beginnings with you! We'll continue to work on the studio in the coming months.
